Can I receive the WiFi device the day after I sign up?

Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, and Kansai Airport offer pick-up the day after making your reservation, as long as you make your reservation by 3:00 PM (Japan Time) the day before. It is also possible to pick up your WiFi device at the Shinjuku counter the day of your reservation, though only between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM on weekdays.

I forgot to return the device in Japan, and accidentally took it home with me.
How do I fill in the international shipping slip to return it?

Which delivery service company can I use for returning the router?
*For returns from within Japan

We recommend that you use the Yamato Transport form that is enclosed with the rental kit.
You can bring it to most convenience stores, Yamato Transport service counters, or hotels for shipping.

I have a smartphone that works abroad, but can I use it in Japan?

Yes, you can use it if your device is capable of connecting to WiFi. If you want to use your device as a telephone, you may use it with a telephone app.

Can I return my WiFi device to an airport different from where I picked it up?

That is absolutely no problem. You can also choose different methods for pick-up and return.

Will transmission fees be applied?

No, they will not. We will not charge you based on usage as it’s already included in the rental fees.

Do I need to sign a separate contract with a provider?

No, you do not. You only have to sign a contract with NINJA WiFi to use our services. Any devices that can be connected to NINJA WiFi are able to connect to the internet at only the cost of the rental fees.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellations made more than 4 days in advance result in a full refund. Cancelling within 4 days of your reservation results in a 100% cancellation charge. If you still wish to cancel within 4 days, please contact our call center (+81-50-8882-5774).

In case of a cancellation when will the refund be processed?

As it depends on your credit card company, it may take up to 20 business days for the refund to process.

Damages & Losses

  1. We will replace the device with a new one if it malfunctions.
  2. Please return all parts to us if the device is damaged.
  3. If there are any missing parts, please note that it may be deemed as a loss (with a replacement fee).
  4. If you lose any or all of the WiFi equipment, you will be charged a replacement fee.

  1. If you need to cancel your reservation, please call our call center for cancellations.
  2. In case our WiFi devices sell out, we may not be able to process every reservation.
  3. NINJA WiFi withdraws your payment amount upon online reservation or upon payment with your credit card through a separate payment page.
